Privacy Policy
This Privacy Notice describes how IdeaHub handles personal information through the IdeaHub platform.
Information we collect
- Account and identity data: name, email, phone, credentials, business roles, profile, organization, domain, location, and verification information.
- Content and transaction data: ideas, challenges, submissions, access requests, applications, workspaces, messages, files, agreements, deal records, support requests, billing records, credit ledger, and related metadata.
- Technical and activity data: IP address, device and browser data, cookies, session identifiers, login and security events, navigation, feature usage, audit logs, and fraud or abuse signals.
- Payment data: payment-provider customer, subscription, invoice, payment-method summary, charge, dispute, and transaction identifiers. Complete card numbers are handled by the payment provider.
- Communications and AI data: emails, SMS delivery records, support communications, alerts, preferences, and prompts or selected fields when you invoke AI features.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts, workflows, collaboration, agreements, billing, support, communications, verification, fraud and abuse prevention, AI requests you initiate, audit evidence, dispute resolution, legal compliance, safety, and service improvement using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
How we disclose information
Information may be disclosed to users you authorize through visibility, access approval, challenge, workspace, agreement, or deal workflows; to service providers for hosting, storage, security, malware scanning, email, SMS, payments, AI, analytics, support, and professional services; and when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, rights enforcement, or a corporate transaction. IdeaHub does not sell protected invention details or personal information.
Cookies, retention, and choices
We use cookies, local or session storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, service operation, and permitted analytics. We retain information as reasonably necessary for active accounts, contracts, transactions, security, audit, legal obligations, disputes, backups, fraud prevention, and enforcement. You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about disclosure, subject to applicable law and identity verification.
California and international processing
If California privacy law applies, California residents may have rights to know, correct, delete, limit use of sensitive personal information, and opt out of sale or sharing. IdeaHub is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate.
Security and children
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the data, but no system is completely secure. IdeaHub is not directed to children under 13, and accounts require users to be at least 18.
Privacy questions
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to prelaunch@ideahub.market during pre-launch. After launch, requests will be handled through IdeaHub’s managed inquiry system.
